7:46 pm	Gakked from Kuro's entry Ok... this was truly wrong.... or maybe even accurate? Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In August I punched digital_panther in the arm (-10 points). Last Wednesday I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). Last Sunday I broke ifni's X-Box (-12 points). In September I set nimirpard's puppy on fire (-66 points). In October I didn't flush (-1 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-789 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich! 6:55 pm	Tell me again why I do this? Well, today was a worthless waste of breathing. I got written up for bitching at my boss about his lack of help. We got into an argument at a meeting yesterday. At the end of the meeting, he apologized for upsetting me. I come in this morning and he hands me a write up that says if I ever lose my temper in a meeting again, that he'll fire me. Now mind you, this is the new corporate president. He's never owned an aerospace machine shop and has no real clue what it takes to try and schedule a shop that's not had a planner in 20 years. After today's crock of bullshit, I've buffed up my resume and I'm job hunting again. If anyone knows of a shop that can use either a planner with over 6 years experience in job shops or an inspector with more than 15 years experience, please let me know... To make today even more of a bitch, I *finally* got my computer. I've been doing my job for the last month without one. It took me better than 4 1/2 hours to get it completely set up, which put me behind in issuing work to the floor, which of course, got me bitched at by my boss. Just when I finally got the damned thing up and running correctly, it was lunch time. I worked a bit into my lunch to finish the set up. After lunch, I got to actually do my job for about an hour before the QA manager (Greg) came in and swore that I was needed in inspection. What he didn't tell me was that he was too damned lazy to actually do the paperwork on the packages to submit parts to our source inspector. Since we're short one inspector today as Frank L. had a doctor's appointment, I was drafted in my secondary role of Quality Engineer to help Frank V. put together the necessary stuff to sell parts to source. Greg went back to his office and sat on his ass until 2:30 when he went home. I didn't get out of there until 3:45 and that was only because the source inspector left at 3:30.
